We’re thrilled to share that Elk LIVE has been selected as a finalist for the 2022 SXSW Innovation Awards. Elk LIVE is being recognized for creating a way for music to enter the hyper-connected world and making it possible, for the first time, to teach, rehearse, jam, and play together in real-time over the internet as if you are in the same room.
The annual SXSW Innovation Awards recognize the most exciting tech developments in the connected world and we will be joining four other finalists from the “Music and Audio Innovation” category for the live event in Austin, Texas from March 12-14. This category celebrates the most innovative devices or services that change and improve the way we listen to, compose and enjoy music. Each entry was graded on four criteria: creativity, form, function, and overall experience. The Finalist Showcase, taking place on Saturday, March 12, provides an in-person experience for the judges to complete their second round of voting to determine the winners of all 13 categories.
We are honored to be considered and included in such an influential event, and we look forward to sharing the work we have been doing with our Elk LIVE platform to make real-time remote music collaboration possible and how this will shape the future of the industry.
